The life and work of a beloved Catholic author is continuing in the classroom. The Chesterton Schools Network, named for G.K. Chesterton, began in 2013. It seeks to help Catholic schools establish a classical education model and the Network is now part of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton. [March 13th - 24th] Dale Ahquist, along with more than 100 of its students attended the annual CSN Rome pilgrimage. Dale Ahlquist, President of the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, shares more about the Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton and their Catholic schools. He also gives us insight into their motto, 'Culture of Life,' which was inspired by Pope Saint John Paul II, and explains how the pontiff plays a role in their work. Ahlquist joined from Rome on pilgrimage and gave highlights of the trip thus far and sheds light on how parent-led Catholic schools across the nation are making a difference.
